(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 8 - Milan prosecutors have requested that
the case against Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi and seven other people
related to the Italian energy giant's business in the Republic
of Congo be shelved.
Descalzi was under investigation for allegedly failing to
declare a conflict of interest.
Other people involved in the case were accused of felonies
including international corruption. (ANSA).
