(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 15 - A 27-year-old Italian nurse died in a
car crash near Brindisi Monday night after pulling two straight
night shifts in a hospital in the Puglia city, sources said
Tuesday.
Sara Viva Sorge was driving home when she swerved off the road
for reasons still to be established in the countryside between
San Vito dei Normanni and San Michele Salentino, and smashed
into a lamp post.
Her family said she probably fell asleep at the wheel after her
"crushing" recent work load. (ANSA).
