(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 16 - Italy's farm minister on Wednesday
hailed a European Parliament vote to strip wine of cancer
warnings.
"We opposed, yet again, the attempt to label our top wine
products in a misleading way, with ridiculous black stickers,"
said Stefano Patuanelli, a member of the 5-Star Movement (M5S).
He stressed that the M5S caucus in the EP co-signed amendments
introducing the difference between harmful and moderate wine
consumption. (ANSA).
