said Thursday she will devolve her fee as co-presenter of the
upcoming Sanremo Song Festival to Italy's top gender violence
charity.

in English, Girls Supporting Girls.

important to speak about psychological violence, of which I
myself have been a victim," she said.
"There are attitudes we must not tolerate, which must be
recognized as 'I don't deserve this'," she said, saying she
would speak out against gender violence and its subtler forms at
the much-watched festival from February 7 to 11.
"It is difficult to emerge form these situations if we normalize
them," she added.
"I agreed to be co-host (with organizer Amadeus) because I want
to raise awareness with the Italian public on these issues".
